And more of the tribe! Mostly, Tiger Lily's hunting party. She insists that the others go first, as the Pirates are near, and Barrie states that the rear is the position with the greatest danger.
And I wonder who is coming next... ^_-

Remember, today is a DOUBLE POST DAY so look for page 164 as well!

Enjoy!

You should do the Graveyard Book, at some point. Or The Junglebook.

But I know you're planning Narnia next. :P

@Onasaki: I've never actually read either of them! I really should some day. Ahah, I don't know if I'll do Narnia next, I have to talk with the people who own it ^_^;; I was debating on looking into the Pippi books, or the Secret Garden, the last of which IS actually in public domain ^_^

@TriaElf9: Well, Peter Pan isn't public domain. It's owned by the hospital that Barrie sold the rights too, I thought?

@Onasaki: Nope, The play is only owned by the hospital. I think the book rights are different in the UK, but in the US, the book is in public domain ^_^ I've talked to them though, and they said that only if I start selling the book in the UK would I need to bother with any sort of royalties ^_^;;

@TriaElf9: I know that this is totally butting in, but I hope you DO make 'The Secret Garden' because it, along with Peter Pan of course, is one of my most favorite of books.

@TriaElf9: In the UK, the book passed into the public domain years ago. I don't remember when exactly, but Hook came out soon afterward.

My hometown had a Peter Pan's Playground, with a donation box for Great Ormond Street Hospital, but they renamed it as soon as the copyright expired. (Don't know why, maybe afraid of Disney?) I was too old for it by then, but it still seemed the fun had gone out of it. It was right next to the town swimming pool which started to look a bit shabby around that time too. (The swimming pool's architecture was one of the few breaks from the traditionalist repression which dominated the town architecturally and socially. Thankfully, the new pool is better still.) It looks like people still call the old playground and pool Peter Pan's. I just read a review of the new swimming pool referring to the old pool that way.

When the book copyright expired, there was also a plea from GOSH on the national news; they expected to lose the income from the book. As a basically anarcho-communist teenager, I was not impressed when Hook came out a year or two later, making no mention of donating anything to the hospital.
