I love how the boys are so excited to see Peter, and he just has noooo idea who they are. And that just doesn't phase him at all. And then he just starts measuring Wendy for the house, and the boys are all, wait hold up there, is Wendy sleeping? And Peter's all, yeah. These moments in the book are just so great because of how normal Peter makes them seem ^_^;;

Enjoy!

Yeah, one of the things I love about Peter :D It's so perfectly childlike. I mean, don't you remember all those times when you were little and strange people greeted you by name, and you had no idea who they were, but politely greeted back just to be sure you don't get laughed for already having forgotten that cousin or this neighbour? And all those times grownups came into the room where you were playing, seeing what you were doing, asking this silly question "Wait, is Child A this and that?" and you could just look at them confused, answering with an annoyed "Yes", thinking to yourself: "Stupid, of course he/she is, can't you see that?!". Though when I think about it now, no wonder they were confused, I had many very... interesting games when I was little ^^ most of them with my sister.
