And something else I don't think we've ever really seen much: Tink's apartment! Barrie described parts of it in such odd detail, it was a challenge to get all the little details right ^_^;; Hope you like it!

Enjoy! ^_^

Speaking about dressing ... how much detailed is description of her dress? I mean, compare with how she looks in Disney version. Does she have multiple dresses?

Also, if it really is from leaves, I don't think she can sit without torning it ... not that I would assume Barrie would write about wardrobe malfunction.

@hkmaly: She's pretty well described, compared to say Wendy or the boys, she is said to be clothed in a leaf, and it's cut to show her figure.

Oh there are some leaves that wouldn't tear, some are super bendy ^_^ But there's a lot in the story that just doooesn't work in real life, eheh. I tend to chalk a lot of it up to surrealism ^_^

Well she may be conceited but she does prove to be a loyal friend later in the book.

@Admiral Halsey: At the moment the book just describes her room as conceited, but yes, she is also super loyal. Tink can be many things, but only one thing at a time ^_^

Exactly what it looks like in my mind :) So terribly cute! ^^ Such a small room for such a small person :)

And sulking Tink... ^^ I wondered a few times already how long fairies can remember their emotions and the reasons for those; since Barrie says they can only feel one at a time (because they are so small ^^). Makes me wonder how long they can think back to why they are feeling that way, again. I sometimes get the impression that Tink stops remebering why she can't stand Wendy in the first place, but keeps acting stubborn just BECAUSE. Because she remembers being mad at her, but not exactly why anymore... Don't know if that's right, though.

Besides that, I was totally impressed with Tink's clothing; the way you drew the leaf when she sits down... is great. The structures of a leaf don't go missing, while it still looks lively and like clothing, not too stiff.

... another thing I often wonder. Does Tink make those cothes herself? And if yes, how often does she have to make new ones? Leaves wither after a time, after all. And what does Tink wear in Winter...?

@snow crystal: Tink is such a fun, complicated character ^_^

I'm so glad you like her clothes! ^_^ I assume she does? Though there could be a fairy tailor ^_^ She probably puts on fur of some sort...unless she doesn't feel the cold? that could be possible to ^_^ To be fair it is a tropical island, so they could not get winter in the truest sense of the word ^_^

@snow crystal: In winter, she obviously wears live oak's leaves.

@TriaElf9: Yeah, but don't they have this season tree? Isn't there always winter on one side of it...? Or am I confusing something??

Anyway, the imagination of a fairy tailor is really cool, but I guess he'd have really A LOT of work with those kind of clothes. For all those fairies.

@hkmaly: Right, oaks!!! Totally forgot about them, you're a genius :D ... Though, now as I think about it, I wonder how clothes made from fir trees would look? I think there's probably a lot of fashion ways with that (at least as some kind of additional item), too :)

@snow crystal: I think you may be confusing it with something ^_^;; There's no mention of seasons in the book, though they day say there more more moons and suns on the islands, so I just figured that meant time just went faster and the seasons came and went more quickly? But yeah, it's a tropical island, I'm sure all the trees don't lose their leaves ^_^ They are magical trees in the Neverland, after all ^_^

@TriaElf9: Hmm, do you know either the book or film "Hook"? I think somewhere there was such a tree mentioned... but could be I got it from an entirely different story and am just putting it in this category because it fits so nicely... but yeah, remember the moons and suns and all and agree with you there.

@TriaElf9: I didn't find it that great myself... though I don't really remember if I ever saw the film, I remember the trailer, but not much more... I read the book, though.
